Experiences
Discover the many adventurous activities available here in the Montana Mountains. You'll find something for every season, and visitors of all ages and fitness levels.
WINTER ACTIVITIES

SKIING
The park's altitude allows us to offer a wide variety of slopes for skiers of all levels. The ski season begins with the first good snowfall (usually around mid-November) and generally lasts until mid-March.

TO CLIMB
Snow climbing is relatively new to the park and incredibly popular. We offer a variety of climbing facilities and a three-hour training session for new climbers. All climbing equipment can be rented at the park headquarters.

HELISKI
Access our most challenging mountains and hilly landscapes with our heli-ski package. It allows you to reach the most remote areas of our park and enjoy a truly individual and exciting skiing experience.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES

CYCLING
The park offers hundreds of kilometers of paved and off-road riding trails. Be prepared for strong winds at higher elevations, and potentially slippery conditions. Be sure to wear protective clothing.

HIKING
Bring your hiking poles, sturdy shoes, and plenty of energy-rich food, because once you start hiking the park's trails, you won't want to stop. All our trails are clearly marked based on the level of expertise.

CAMPING
There are over 180 campsites in the park, and demand is high, so book in advance. Note that developed sites have basic amenities, such as running water and restrooms; backcountry sites do not have such facilities.

WILD ANIMALS
You'll find an incredible array of wildlife roaming freely in the park. It's fun to take photos, but be sure to maintain a safe distance. Also, be respectful of the wildlife you encounter, as this is their home.

Canoe trips
Traveling by canoe is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the park. Move along the water at a leisurely pace and enjoy the scenery along the way. There are two boat shops in the park that rent canoes and equipment.
